US power emission 16 times more than that of India

A comparison of per capita CO2 emissions by power plants, shows Australians as the worst (10 tonnes), while US has the overall highest total emissions at over 2.5 billion tonnes each year compared to Australia’s 205 million tonnes per year. Even though India is 4th in the list of total emissions (529 million tonnes) our per capita of 0.49 tonnes definitely makes us look very efficient.
