Barefoot College is a grassroots rural empowerment and education effort which has been underway in Rajasthan for the last 35 years, with primary focus on using local rural wisdom more than urban ideas to alleviate rural poverty and other issues. Founded by Sanjit Bunker Roy, this unbeatable model is making a big difference in rural communities across India.
